Minerva

Jupiter’s daughter, goddess of Wisdom, of the Arts, of war and peace.
After swallowing Métis, the goddess of crafty thought and wisdom, Jupiter had a strong head ache and asked Vulcano to open his head with his best axe.
Minerva came out adult, bearing shield spear and armour. She was considered, like Diana a virgin goddess.
Minerva is represented with a head helmet, an arm shield and a spear in her hand; having beside her an Owl and various mathematical instruments.
